Open Question: my mp3 isn't showing up in mycomputer or anything, help plz?

I got a new mp3 player yesterday and I think its called walkmen or something, its black and has a weird w looking thing. I wanna add music to it and I already have some, but it doesn't apear in like Mycomputer or on the "remove software safely" botton :( please help, I don't think the manual says anything about that so,,,
