Open Question: innovative technologies mp3 player sticks at loading screen?

i just bought an innovative technologies ITMP-505 mp3 player. i can load music on the mp3 player i can plug it into my car sterio and listen to the music on it like that. but when i try to listen to the fm radio or the music using just the mp3 player it gos to the loading screen and stays there.
