Open Question: Mp3 Player screen black?

I have an insignia pilot NS-8V24 and the screen is completely black. Is there a way to fix the problem? Like reseting the player from a computer, or like a DIY?
Black as in Can't see anything EVER Idiots. By the way, my fav color is black.
