Actually I am using my old 1GB mp3 player as a pen drive... It was affected by virus.. It showed tat the media is WRITE-PROTECTED and NOT ABLE TO FORMAT that.. Pls Help me out...

I have a 2 year old sandisk sansa 1gb mp3 player. This morning i plugged it into my ps3 to charge. Later i tried 2 turn it on and it didn't work. Then i plugged it into my computer and on the screen it says writing and the battery life is full. When i unplug it from my pc it wont turn on. The screen just stays blank. Can someone help me.

I hate touch screens. 16 GB isn't enough, and I'm looking for an MP3 Player with 30gb or more storage that isn't touch screen based and doesn't use a hard drive. Any suggestions?

lol well im on itunes playing music from my laptop while listeing to my itouch lol :)

last song i played was(imma list all my mp3(mp4 players) and ipods)

ipod touch : undead by hollywood undead (listeing to it now)
iphone: yeah by usher (this moring)
ipod nano 4g: get low by lil john( last week lol)
mp3 (1): low by flo-rida (bout 2 weeks ago)
(other mp3 players havent fooled with them in a while so ya lol)
ipod classic: all my songs got erased from fcking limwire -_-

ya well thats the ones i listen to i have like over 15 ipods (because i am a music fantatic and use them for different stuff like dance. school.bands in my neigbor hood etc.)

my fave ipod and the one i use most is my itouch it goes everywhere i go :)

I just got an MP3 player and know nothing at all about how to get music on them. (I am not a technical person at all. I am old and barely can use computer)

It is a 4G and is not an IPod kind of MP3 player. It is a Sandisk Sansa brand/kind.

I have no idea of places to download music from. Only interested in music. No videos (the MP3 doesn't have a video screen) and no other downloads.

I am mainly interested in gospil music, bigband music (music of the 1940's and WWII era), easy listening kind of music, and some oldies rock (1950's, 1960's and a little bit of the 1970's)

ok so i personally like the zune way better than ipods because ipods freickin freeze all the time.. however my old 30GB zune just broke on me last week... so for christmas i was wondering which would be better a new zune or ipod or even a new mp3 player.... idk, im afraid the new zune might not be as great as i am anticipating.. and i just dont like ipods.. so if anyone knows a good quality mp3 that is at least 4 GB, has a menu screen, and rechargable let me know about it and approximately what price it is..
